The test questions are all in English, and the answer questions are mainly in English.
An A-Level course is generally divided into six units, and the examination time for each unit is 75 minutes to 90 minutes. The total time for a course exam is between 7 and a half hours and 9 hours.
Scoring method:
After the test, students will first receive a score for the test paper, that is, the initial score (Raw score). Different combinations of test papers for the same examination subject lead to different scores, and their scoring standards and difficulty are also different. It will first be measured by the score line of each set of tests; or the percentage of each unit in the final score of the entire subject will be used to calculate the UMS (Uniform Mark Scale) standard score, which is used to indicate the performance level.
UMS scores are converted into grades as follows:
seven grades: A*, A, B, C, D, E, and U.
Among them, A* is the best, E is passed, and U is failed. The passing grade of E is equivalent to 40 points on a hundred-point scale.
If students achieve passing grades, they can apply to foreign universities.
The relationship between the specific grades and the UMS score percentage system is as follows (the following is the percentage of the total score):
A*: 90-100
A: 80-89
B: 70-79
C: 60-69
D: 50-59
E: 40-49
U: below 40
* If the student’s score is rated as failing, he must retake all exams, and he can also retake the A-Level course as many times as needed.
